2024 Shaw Prize winner in Astronomy, Professor Shrinivas Kulkarni, delivered a public talk on “The Dynamic Night Sky” on 28th July 2024 at Sir Puttanna Chetty Town Hall, Bengaluru. He shared insights from his pioneering work in time-domain astronomy, and discussed how astro-informatics, machine learning, and AI are transforming the study of the dynamic universe. This event was organized and hosted by the International Centre for Theoretical Sciences (ICTS), with support from the Murty Trust.
